Issue 117, March 20

If you missed last week’s meeting, you missed a good one. We had extended networking with Member Introductions. Everyone had a few minutes to discuss who they are and what they do. Basically, It was a one minute spotlight speaking opportunity promoting your business. We will bring this introduction networking back again in the future as I believe that it was beneficial to members.
I would like to thank one of our own, Karen Mathis, who stepped in at the last minute and gave us a condensed update on things that are happening around the city. There is a lot going on downtown with city hall, the Ed Ball Building, Brooklyn and the Shipyards. The old Times Union Building was discussed in detail as well as the indictments relating to JEA. As we all know, there is a lot happening with home sales and development in NE Florida as well.
Check the club calendar often as we have our first Meet A Member/Trade Show Mega Event cohosted by Apollo Packaging and Crushr on March 24th. Get signed up and use the opportunity to showcase your business at the mini trade show. Click here to purchase your tickets.

This week we welcome Chris Hand, who will be speaking on citizenship and City Hall. I hope to see everyone for another delicious lunch this Wednesday at Fogo De Chao. Have a great week!
