We received some great workforce talent insight from last week’s guest speaker, Dolly Penland. Dolly is an award-winning journalist and hiring specialist. She shared some in-depth industry statistics as well as general strategies for attracting and maintaining the right employee in today’s workforce. Dolly expounded on other aspects of workforce talent, such as nurturing the right leadership strengths for your team or individual and reducing turnover. Dolly also spoke about the common differences in generational work styles (Traditional, Boomers, Gen-X, Millennial). It was all very interesting!
Our speaker this week is Emily Lisska, Executive Director of the Jacksonville Historical Society. I guarantee you’ll learn something new about our city’s past.
