Issue 18, April 30
Last week was one of my favorite meetings! Our YAP luncheon was awesome! We had 32 very excited 5th grade patrols getting their certificates. Our speaker was Ernest Wilford, former Jacksonville Jaguar and now an officer with JSO. He gave a very motivated talk to the kids who were sitting on the edge of their seats soaking it all in. I was extremely impressed!
Last Thursday was our YAP BBQ. The weather was great and we had a great turn out! Thanks to all of our volunteers!
Our speaker this week is Charlie Cofer. He is our new Public Defender. I’m very interested to hear about how things are going and how he is relating to the new State Attorney’s office.
