This week, we’re excited to announce that Ken Babby, the Owner of the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, will be joining us as our guest speaker.

In a similar seafood vein, have you ever dined at Dockside Seafood Restaurant in Jax Beach? My personal favorite is the fried shrimp basket, which includes twelve large shrimp, three hush puppies, a generous serving of fries, and some slaw, all for $16. As I write this (Saturday at 1:15 PM), I’m picturing myself at the outdoor covered picnic benches, watching the boats launch and dock, while savoring my meal and a refreshing ice-cold drink. Just a tip, during peak times, you might wait between 30-40 minutes. Plus, they offer complimentary valet parking – a convenience you might appreciate since parking can be challenging to find. It’s definitely worth the tip.

Please be aware that our next regular meeting will take place at Maggiano’s at the Town Center, marking a one-time venue change. Future meetings for the remainder of the year will resume at the San Jose Country Club.

To help us prepare the right amount of catering, please make sure to pre-register by Tuesday at 3 PM. Though walk-ins are always welcome, they can pay at the door.
