We were thrilled to have the St. Johns Riverkeeper, Lisa Rinaman, as our guest speaker last week. The St. Johns River is the second largest water ecosystem in Florida, with watersheds from 18 counties impacting it’s health and water level. Lisa gave us a great overview on the current status of the proposed dredging project and how it will impact Jacksonville if approved and implemented. The St. Johns Riverkeeper and staff continue to investigate issues, raise awareness, and engage citizens in protecting northeast Florida’s largest natural water resource.
This week we’ll have Jeff Fingland, Jacksonville Jaguars Champions Club Manager, give us the scoop on what to expect this upcoming Jaguars season.
