Issue 41 October 11

We had a fun time yesterday at the 4th Annual Clay Shoot benefiting our Youth Achiever Program scholarship fund for our JROTC students. If you missed it, you will definitely want to be involved next year!

Last week our guest speaker was Ed Dean, political journalist and WBOB Radio Host. It was very interesting hearing his perspective on what is happening in our local political scene. 2nd Vice President, Bill Bishop, called me last Thursday to say he was listening to Ed’s talk show and he mentioned the Southside Business Men’s Club! Nice shout out on the radio!

Our guest speaker this week is Jacksonville City Council President Anna Brosche. She will share her leadership plan and vision for the upcoming year in local politics.

Also, please bring a bottle of wine to the meeting for our wine raffle (details below). We’ll start selling tickets this week and the drawing will be held at the November 1 meeting.

See you Wednesday!
