Last week our club had the privilege of recognizing and honoring our past presidents and all they have done to make our organization what it is today. We set aside one meeting each year to do this and it’s always wonderful to look back on our progress and see how SBMC has contributed to making Jacksonville a great place to live and work. Hats off to all of our past presidents!
This week our guest speaker is wine educator and shop owner Jeanne Maron. There’s a lot of lingo in the world of wine and Jeanne will help us learn how to correctly use common phrases and jargon when ordering or describing reds and whites.
Speaking of wine, our wine raffle fundraiser is wrapping up and we have over 25 bottles donated already! This is the last week to donate a bottle and you’ll have one final chance to purchase a $10 raffle ticket at the registration table this Wednesday. The drawing will be held during the auction portion of our meeting.
