Issue 47 December 3

Last week our guest speaker was Florida Representative Paul Renner. He gave our members and guests an overview of Florida’s short and long term challenges. Public education, roads and quality water are three big topics that our state will continue to grapple with as the population grows to 20 million (surpassing New York). Some positive news is that Florida was voted #1 in fiscal health, despite budgetary surprises following Hurricane Irma. Moving forward, Representative Renner is committed to spending government dollars wisely.
Our guest speaker this week is Dr. Amber Oliveria from the DePaul School of Jacksonville. She’ll share her goals and objectives for educating children with autism.
See you Wednesday,
Julie Clements
