This week we welcomed Michael Stewart from the Jacksonville Aviation Authority for a “reverse speech”. He talked to us about the effect of the COVID pandemic on travel in the United States and compared it to the 2007 recession and the aftermath of 9/11. He also talked to us about the impact of the pandemic specifically on the expansion plans of Jacksonville International Airport, and why it’s an international airport. If you ever wondered about that you should have been in attendance.
I would like to remind everyone of our upcoming golf outing on February 19 and our first Meet-a-Member of the year on March 4. I know both will be great time and look forward to seeing as many people attending these events as possible.
