This week we welcomed Former Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, who spoke to us about the issues small business owners face in the current political climate. She explained that many involved in the political process have lost view of the fact that they are our representatives, not our leaders. It is up to us to keep our representatives accountable and make sure they are doing what is best for our communities long-term, not what is expedient short-term or for re-election.
Join us next week when we welcome Lisa Rinaman who will talk to us about The St. John’s Riverkeeper’s efforts to preserve and protect the St. John’s River.
