If you missed last weeks meeting with Chief Keith Powers of the JFRD you missed a great presentation. Chief Powers taught us how advanced JFRD is and how they are leading the country, and in some cases the world, with their life-saving techniques and investments in technology and their people. Did you know that JFRD members get tuition paid by the city for a four-year degree? In addition, the Chief is working to create a private scholarship fund to allow qualifying student athletes to take their fire fighter training at no cost to them.

Finally, if you know of any prospective members that you think would be interested in getting a heads up on our events for the month, give their address to Steve as well.
